Booking:  To book your tour you send us a 30% deposit on the total (non-refundable) as well as the registration form and assumption of risk and release of liability agreement. The full balance shall be paid 30 days before the tour date departure. Full payment is required if booking within 60 days before tour departure date and for any of our short tours (3 days or less). A booking is confirmed only after we have confirmed acceptance of payment with a confirmation invoice. It is very important you inform us of the details of payment; failure to do so might result in a delay. In the case we don’t receive the necessary payments due in full and on time, we will be entitled to treat your booking as cancelled and the cancellation policy applies.

Payment: You can pay by wiring the money from your bank account to our account, or use money transfer services such as Wester Union. We will send you the instructions for payment. Cost of any transactions will be assumed by the customer.

Cancellation policy: If cancellation is made 30 days or more before the start of the tour the cancellation fee will be the non-refundable deposit.  If cancellation is done fewer than 30 days before the tour departure,  no refund will be available unless the deposit is transferred to a new registration for another tour within the next 12 months. For short tours (3 days or less) If cancellations are made 7 days or more before the tour departure, you will receive a 70% refund.  For bookings made less than 7 days before the trip a full and non refundable payment will be required at time of booking. Please not that charges might apply from the refund you receive.  Because we incur in finacial costs and possible logistic inconveniences under no circumstance we can waive or reduce cancellation fees. No refunds are given for skipped meals or other on-tour activities.

In case of tour cancellation from us, all deposits and other payments for the tours you made will be refunded. Please note as well that we reserve the right to cancel all or part of a tour at any time if the tour doesn’t make the minimum number of participants or when we feel that the health and/or safety of our participants is at risk.

Tour Price Increases: Price increases may occur unexpectedly and beyond our control, and we always do our best to anticipate increases and prices. Whoever, in some severe cases we reserve the right to charge participants an increase of up to 10% of the tour price and participants will be notified on time. If greater increases are necessary, participants may withdraw without penalty.

Single Supplement: The single room supplement listed for each tour provides a single room throughout the tour when available. Note that single accommodation may not be available at every lodge if we have a high number of singles on the tour. If you wish to avoid the cost of a single room (single supplement), we will attempt to find a roommate for you, but please be aware that this is not always possible and if we are unable to find a suitable roommate for you, you will be required to pay the single supplement.

Responsibility & liability: At Ecotone Tours we do everything possible to eliminate the potential risks you may encounter, but we act only as travel agents and we cannot assume liability for any kind of personal injury, property damage or loss that might arise during the tour.We strongly advice you have an updated medical and travel insurance. We cannot take responsibility for losses or any additional expenses due to changes or delay in our services arising from situations beyond our control such as weather, strikes, quarantines and other causes. All these losses or expenses will have to be borne by the customers.

We reserve the right to make changes in the itinerary when judged necessary or caused by changes in transport schedules, road conditions etc. Should this occur, we will offer something equivalent to avoid altering your experience the least possible. The right is reserved to decline, accept or retain any person in the tour, and to substitute any guides with someone of equivalent experience in necessary situations

Website accuracy: Our website constitutes our document of record. Should published or distributed materials concerning tour descriptions, itineraries, costs, etc., differ in any way from the current the website version, the website version is correct.
